Why exterior work
The exterior is where a home meets weather, and where deferred maintenance gets expensive. It is also where a homeowner has the least visibility into what a contractor actually did.
Most exterior projects are decided on a single number, with the scope buried in a paragraph. That is how a lower price ends up leaving out preparation, flashing, or the repairs that were the whole point. 916 Exteriors was set up around the opposite habit: write the scope out first, wall by wall, so the homeowner can compare and decide.
The work covers six related trades because on most homes they overlap. Siding meets windows at flashing. Gutters hang on fascia that may be rotted. Paint only lasts on sound wood. Planning them together produces a better result than fixing them one at a time.
