916 Exteriors wants every homeowner to be able to find a service, understand the options, and request an estimate on this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we aim for

The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
• Headings, landmarks, lists, and tables are marked up so screen readers can navigate by structure.
• Images carry descriptive text; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.
• Text and controls meet contrast minimums, and the site remains usable at 200% zoom and on narrow phones.
• Form fields have permanent visible labels, errors are announced and linked to the field, and nothing depends on color alone.
• Motion is limited and respects the reduce-motion preference.
• Before-and-after comparisons have plain buttons; no dragging is required, and both photos are always available.

Known limitations

Photographs of completed work convey visual detail that text can only summarize. Captions and descriptions state the location, scope, and materials so the substance is available without the image.

How we check

Pages are tested with automated checks, keyboard-only navigation, and screen-reader review of the main journeys: finding a service, checking coverage, and requesting an estimate. Issues found are fixed in the next release.
